First Round of Donations go out to Baker Memorial Church

[Carol Stream, IL]: Humanity for the Homeless announced a new round of donations at a valuation of $14,738.00. This round of funding was led by Humanity for the Homeless with participation from Becker Logistics.

“The check we handed over today to Baker Memorial United Methodist Church will be used for providing the homeless in their community so many things we take for granted, such as shelter, clothes, and just helping these people get back on their feet,” says Jim Becker, CEO at Becker Logistics and Founder of Humanity for the Homeless. 

This new round of funding will be used to help the homeless in our communities. Specifically, the areas that the company will focus on are:

 

• Providing food, shelter, and clothing for the homeless

• Helping the homeless get the healthcare they need

• Helping the homeless establish bank accounts
