Sleep Out Saturday with Humanity for the Homeless x Becker Logistics

The Team at Becker Logistics created a social promise two years ago to help their local communities by giving back $1 from every load they ship. Since then, they have created Humanity for the Homeless to work with these local organizations to not only financially donate, but to give their time as well.

This year, Humanity for the Homeless has started working with Bridge Communities, a non-profit organization that helps displaced families in DuPage County with mentoring, housing, and supportive services.

Bridge Communities has an annual event called Sleep Out Saturday where nearly, on average, 1,000 community residents will spend a cold night outside taking cover in tents, boxes, and cars to raise awareness about family homelessness as well as funds for Bridge Communities’ Transitional Housing Program.

This year, for Humanity for the Homeless, we will be sponsoring and having our own Sleep Out Saturday Event with Bridge Communities on November 29th from 7:00PM – 8:30PM CST. The Becker team and their friends and family will be joining to help raise awareness about the homeless epidemic that is literally everywhere.
